Over the last 20 or so years Oselli have been restoring on average one MGA Roadster each year to an ever increasing spec until our ultimate level has been achieved.
This Sapphire Blue Roadster is one such car restored to this level, with full body off, 'nut & bolt' restoration to concourse level.
The Oselli ultimate specification is subtly restore the car to a level of performance, handling and reliability for todays modern traffic conditions and a car capable of being able to take on long distance touring with ease.
The Oselli spec is as follows;-
1950cc stage 2 lightened and balanced five main bearing lead free engine with new HS4 re-jetted SU carburetors and K&N Air filters.
Five speed gearbox and overhauled rear axle.
Tubular long branch large bore exhaust manifold and system.
Uprated cooling system including oil coolers and electric radiator fan.
Uprated electrics with alternator charging, Hi torque starter motor, all new wiring harnesses and electrical components, 12 volt single battery being negative earth, electronic ignition with high output coil and Magnicore HT leads.
Uprated standard suspension front and rear with uprated bushes and shock absorbers.
Disc brakes to front and all new braking system. All new brake lines and components.
Body off restoration with new panels where ever necessary, new floors, powder coated chassis and suspension parts. Body painted inside and out in Sapphire blue.
All new trim in magnolia with beige carpets through out.
New blue hood and tonneau cover.
All new chrome.
Chrome extra wide wire wheels with new tyres.
Oselli thick walled aluminum Rocker cover.
Fully documented history of the rebuild with photographic record at every stage.
All in all this is a superb spec car and a great pleasure to drive.
