1931 Rolls-Royce Phantom II Hooper Sedanca de Ville
£100,000 | Location: United Kingdom
A very fine & rakish Phantom II built by Hooper, "The King of Coachbuilders." This car has been owned for several decades by the current owner who is now in his 90th year & feels it is time to release the car to a new owner. During his tenure the car has covered less then 1000 miles per year as evidenced by an unbroken run of MOT certificates & service bills.
The car has been maintained without regard to cost by marque specialists Ristes of Nottingham. We would encourage any potential buyers to contact Steve Lovatt at Ristes for a reference on the car & the super condition it is in. The engine is powerful, silent & everything a Phantom II ought to be. It drives superbly & is a real pleasure to take down the road.
The coachwork takes the form of a Sedanca de Ville with a very low rakish letter box style front window. The car was the 1931 Olympia Motor Show car according to a brochure copy & was priced at a then princely £3,054.00
The car has had a very high quality repaint in its original colours of ivory & black, with the paint being unblemished & perfect. To the interior, the car is also as specified when new. Black Leather to the front & black wool cloth to the rear. A silver grey headlining completes the ensemble. Some of the small tools are present under the front seats. A large modern jack is stowed in the capacious rear luggage trunk. The car also has useful storage bins located in the running boards.
This Rolls Royce Phantom II has had money lavished upon it without regards to expense & is consequently in way above average condition both from a mechanical & a cosmetic standpoint. Viewing & a test drive are strongly encouraged.
