E-Type Jaguar 9600 HP Limited Edition Print

9600 HP, sometimes called 'The most famous car in the World', is the legendary E-type prototype that was used for high speed testing on the M1, achieved 150mph in an Autocar test and was driven flat out to Geneva to star at the '61 show. The history and prototype features of the car make it unique but also relevant to all E-type enthusiasts.

Owner Philip Porter of Porter Press kindy provided the photographic reference for the painting and descriptive text which is etched into the Aluminium panel.
As the car is such as symbol of 60's design the composition incorporates sketches to highlight Malcolm Sayer's aerodynamic but soulful curves and RAF roundels.

The prints are produced using an ultra-fine inkjet printing process onto a 3mm Aluminium composite panel. The ink is dried by UV and has excellent archival quality. The print is frameless but fitted with a sub-frame so it appears to float above the wall and is easy to hang.

Just 100 prints are being produced in two sizes.

Two options are available:

32 x 17.5 x 1.4cm - Edition of 50

Hand signed and numbered, and have a 10mm sub-frame.

70 x 35 x 2.8cm - Edition of 25

Signed, numbered and titled on specially made aluminium plates which are riveted to the front of the print, and have a 25mm sub-frame.

Each print is signed, numbered and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
